Mexico City.-On Monday morning, January 23, at the facilities of the Naval War College of this University, the Inaugural Ceremony of the On-site Phase of the Diploma in Incident Command System, Class X, in its Mixed modality, took place.

The ceremony was presided over by Vice Admiral Jose Hector Orozco Tocaven, Director of this Institution, who in his welcome message, highlighted the importance of inter-institutional coordination during the on-site exercises of this Diploma, to achieve a common goal: to provide an efficient and effective response to safeguard life, possessions, and the ecological environment facing risks derived from natural and human phenomena.

It is worth mentioning that 30 individuals will participate, including Admirals, Captains and Officers, assigned to different SEMAR Commands, as well as operational personnel from Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
