He is a Hydrographic Engineer graduated from the Heroic Naval Military School in Mexico from 1990 to 1995, Master in Naval Administration (Diploma of Staff) study carried out at the Center for Higher Naval Studies in Mexico, has served as commander in different commissions in operational units such as, Officer in charge and Commander Sec. Cia. Fus. in BIM-09 (Yuk. Yucatán) from 1996 to 2000, Second Commander in BIM-18 (Acapulco) from 2000 to 2001, Second Commander of Cia. in FRAP. BEVAPP1CS (Manzanillo) from 2021 to 2002, Commander of the Naval Brigade at the School of Engineers (Plant) from 2002 to 2006, Commander 3rd. Cia. Fusil., Commander 1st. Cia. Fusil., J. Sec. Inform. Operat., J.G.C. in BIM-FUSPAR from 2007 to 2014, among others, his last commission was as Head of Planning at UNOPES from 2022 to 2024, his current commission is as Director of Academic and Logistics Support at the Center for Higher Naval Studies.
He has completed various national and international courses, including: Anti-Drug Maritime Operations Course at Naval Special Warfare Group Two, Boarding Officer Course at the USCG Reserve Training Center in the United States in 1998, and Firearms, Ammunition and Explosives Identification Instructor Training Course at the Naval Military Battalion. 17 in 1999, English Language Course at the Heroic Naval Military School in Mexico in 2000, Sea Survival Course at the Naval Operational Training Center in Mexico in 2002, Search and Rescue Course in the Third Naval Zone in Mexico in 2005, High Altitude Free Fall Infiltration Training Course at the Parachute Rifle Battalion in Mexico in 2007, Naval Command Course at the Center for Higher Naval Studies from 2009 to 2010, Master's in Naval Administration (General Staff Diploma) at the Center for Higher Naval Studies in Mexico from 2014 to 2016 just to name a few.
He has received various Recognitions, Decorations and Honorable Mentions, including: Recognition for Imparting the 6th Course on Teaching Techniques for Instructors and the 2nd Course on Riverine Operations in 2001, Recognition for Aiding the Civilian Population of Tabasco during Cold Front 4 in 2007, Honorable Mention for his invaluable institutional performance in favor of the nation, by guaranteeing the security of our territory and full compliance with the rule of law, with integrity, order and strict respect for human rights in 2014, Honorable Mention for the outstanding performance of the personnel belonging to that unit, demonstrating institutional loyalty, dedication and zeal in the fulfillment of their obligations, during the performance of operations to reduce violence in the country in 2016, 2017 and 2018, Second Class Perseverance Decoration for having completed 30 years in active service of the Mexican Navy in 2020, Decoration of the Legion of Honor for demonstrating during thirty years of uninterrupted service in this institution, a military and civil vocation and conduct, in accordance with what is established by military laws and regulations, awarded in a civic-military ceremony on 02/05/22. Special Operations Unit Distinction for having performed with professionalism, dedication and high institutional commitment in the special operations unit (UNOPES), having also demonstrated impeccable military and civil conduct in 2023, Honorable Mention for active participation in various operations orders for the maintenance of the rule of law with positive results, achieving the seizure of narcotics, personnel, weapons and vehicles during the period from 2022 to 2023, becoming a worthy example, Anti-Narcotics Operations Medals I and II Class, Purple Medal awarded by the United States government and Teaching Merit I and II Class.
