Master Lecture ‘National Security of Japan’
Mexico City.- On June 29th the Centro de Estudios Superiores Navales (Higher Naval Studies Center) was visited by Rear Admiral Yasushige Konno, commander of the Japan Training Squadron from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. He delivered the master lecture ‘National Security of Japan’ at the Maximum house of studies in the Main lecture hall.
Students from Escuela de Guerra Naval (Naval War School) and Escuela de Áreas tecnológicas, Humanidades, Idiomas e Inteligencia (The School of Humanities, Technological Fields, Languages, and Maritime Intelligence) as well as professors and researchers attached to the campus were present at the hall.
During his lecture Rear Admiral Konno shared his knowledge and experience of Japan’s maritime security, involving different subjects as national security strategy, international cooperation for sea protection and Japan’s current challenges in this aspect.
